Who are we?

Our Mission

To promote and protect primary healthcare and provide essential social services to vulnerable communities through accessible, affordable, and culturally sensitive health services.

Our Vision

To create a healthier, safer, and more productive society by ensuring every individual has access to quality primary healthcare.

Our Story

The Foundation began as As-Sabil Dispensary Clinic in 2010, launched to meet the urgent health needs of Kabalan Doki—a densely populated community with limited access to healthcare. In 2014, we expanded and transformed into Al-Ummah Medical Care Foundation to strengthen our mission and broaden our reach.

Today, we serve thousands of families annually and continue to build a model of community-owned healthcare that restores our traditional values of togetherness, compassion, and collective responsibility.

Al-Ummah Medical Care Foundation is a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to improving primary healthcare access for underserved individuals and families in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Established in 2010 and formalized in 2014, we have been a pillar of healthcare support in Kabalan Doki for over 14 years.

Our work focuses on women, children, the elderly, low-income earners, and vulnerable households who cannot afford regular hospital care. We provide affordable treatments, antenatal care, public health education, family planning, and community sanitation initiatives.
